Cedar River Kleine Münsterländers
Cedar River Kleine Münsterländers Breeding & Puppies
Max is now retired from breeding.
Trusting a breeder is never simple nor easy. We found Cedar River KMs by accident, specifically because of some information I read about Max. I contacted Mary to ask a few questions and immediately found a friend in her. We decided to wait almost 6 months until the breeding happened, not just because of the outstanding pairing, but because of Mary and Jim. Over the last 3 years we have spent countless hours on the phone, sharing YouTube videos for training advice and just checking in to say hi. They even surprised us by driving 6 hours in the wee hours of the morning to support us and Ayssa v Cedar River on her first hunt test. She is incredibly knowledgeable regarding dogs in general, she works hard with the puppies from the moment they kit the ground to give help mold their temperament, drive and desire to work, she is willing to give all that she can to make sure expectations are met on all sides of the table....but best of all she is realistic, matter-of-fact and passionate. The relationship doesn't end when you take your pup home - Mary and Jim are in it for the long haul with you and there are few puppy breeders that do the same. They are in it for the dogs, for the love of the hunt, for the companionship, the camaraderie. I so hope Cedar River KMs have a litter in the works when we are ready for another pup.
